History[]

  • The Reveries were founded in 1957 as a Class C drum corps with the Immaculate Conception parish of Revere, Massachusetts under pastor Father Lawrence Sullivan and corps director John Brown. [1]
  • In 1966 the corps is involved in the "sit down strike" protest at the VFW Nationals competition in Jersey City, New Jersey. [2]
  • In 1967 the negative reaction to the "sit down strike" and the withdrawl of support from the Immaculate Conception parish led to the disbanding of the corps and the formation of the 27th Lancers.[3]
